Kaicho Bluming

Kaicho Jon Bluming 1933 – 2018

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to inform you that my Kaicho died. I received a phone call from Albertine; his wife, at 20:40 on 17th December 2018, where she informed me that Kaicho died at 20:30. I suppose, like many others, I thought that Kaicho would live a lot longer. He was a strong man, both physically and mentally, but he succumbed to time, as we all will.

His funeral was on the 27th December 2018 and was well attended with individuals coming from all over the world to pay their respects. I, along with Kancho Eric van Vaerenbergh and Hanshi Tom Madsen (see below photos), was deeply honoured to be invited to the funeral and the private cremation ceremony. – Hanshi Marc Howes
